If you or your husband or significant other is a gadget freak welcome to the club.  With that in mind think about inventions that have impressed you.

 A new survey asked people to name the top inventions from the past 25 years.  And this may come as a shock . . . but none of those "As Seen On TV" products made the list.

The most important inventions of the last quarter century include:

• Wi-Fi
• Smartphones
• GPS
• Flat Screen TVs
• Online Banking/Shopping
• Tablets

I'm sure their are others that make your personal list of favorites.

In the survey, people were asked who they thought were the most visionary inventors of the last 25 years.

 

1st – Steve Jobs, Apple co-founder

2nd – Sir Tim Berners-Lee, World Wide Web inventor

3rd – Mark Zuckerberg, Facebook co-founder
