MMMM… National Pancake Week!

Who doesn't love pancakes?  You can do almost anything with them... eat them plain, add butter or syrup, fruit, whipped cream... even chocolate!  Yum... Joe and I asked you where to find your favorite pancakes?

Your replies ranged from apple and cinnamon pancakes to peach filled Swedish pancakes with coconut sorbet on top...  WOW!  Now that's fancy!  Lots of folks just like their pancakes at home... but Ihop was mentioned! 

Then we got a call from Jennifer, who told us about Cartwright's Maple Tree Inn in Angelica, New York.  Cartwright's serves up buckwheat pancakes with pure maple syrup for just a few weeks each year, while the syrup is fresh!  Jen says the pancakes are the best she's ever had...  and adds they have a guest book to sign...  people come from near and far to get them while they can!  They even have bus tours that roll through!  MMMMM...  this is one we have to try!
