Buffalo Police Investigating Deadly Accident Involving a Child

A 7-year-old boy has died after being struck by a car on Wednesday evening.

The Buffalo Fire Department was first to respond to the scene on Hewitt Avenue, where the child was hit while riding his bike on Buffalo's east side.

The boy was taken to ECMC and later died from his injuries.

The driver of the car has not been charged, but authorities will continue to investigation the accident.
