Currently, according to AAA, the average price for a gallon of unleaded gas in New York State is $3.906 while the National average is $3.823. In 2022, the average price for a gallon of regular gas was $4.14.

Overall the lowest price for gas in New York State can be found in the Western part of the state. The highest price is near Albany and the northern part of the state.
