Doug Flutie Thinks This QB Is Better Than Josh Allen
More and more people are coming around to the fact that Buffalo's Josh Allen is an amazing quarterback, but some people still don't think Allen is the best quarterback in team history yet.
Former Buffalo Bill Doug Flutie was caught by TMZ as he was leaving dinner with NFL great Joe Montana when he was asked about Buffalo's QB Josh Allen.
Flutie gushed about how good Allen is but was also a long way from having the same career as Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly.
"I love Josh Allen, love everything he did -- he had a tremendous year, I'm not going to say he's going to [overtake Kelly], but the potential to do so is there."
Allen has had a good start to his career here in Western New York. In his four seasons with the Bills, Allen had won 39 career regular-season games throwing for 14,114 yards, 103 touchdowns, and 46 interceptions.
In Kelly's 1st four regular seasons with the Bills, he won 28 games, threw for 12,901 yards, 81 touchdowns, and 81 interceptions.
In his 10 year career with the Bills, Kelly threw for over 35,000 yards, 237 touchdowns, and 175 interceptions during the regular season.
Of course, quarterbacks are also ranked on how many wins and championships they bring to town. Kelly is known for winning the AFC Championship four straight times while never having won the Super Bowl.

So far in his career, Allen has taken the Bills to the playoffs three out of four years making the AFC Championship once.
While he might not be the best QB in Bills history just yet, Allen has a shot at taking that honor over the next several years especially if he ends up winning a Super Bowl or two for the Bills.
