Flavor of Hamburg Celebrates 133 Years of the Hamburger
The town of Hamburg is celebrating 133 years of the Hamburger and it was invented in WNY!
Buffalo was named best place to visit by The Wall Street Journal and now, we find out that The Menches Brothers invented the Hamburger at The Erie County Fair. Though the birth of the hamburger happened today, the town of Hamburg will be celebrating this Saturday at The Flavor of Hamburg.
You can check out The Flavor of Hamburg this Saturday with live music, a side walk sale, food, and even a hamburger cook off. You can also have a yummy hamburger of course!
There is a little controversy with the invention of the Hamburger. There are quite a few claims out there but their claims just don't add up. Historian Chris Carosa said that all of the other stories have too many contradictions to be true. Hey, we will certainly take it!
