The World's Largest Disco is one of Buffalo's biggest parties and its coming back this year...but they will cap attendance at 5,000 people.

I know what you're thinking - If they have to cap the attendance, will it really be the World's Largest Disco?

The answer is, yes.  This is still going to be a crazy party.  I mean...there will be 5,000 people dressed in their best 70's swag and dancing to 70's music...oh...and it's happening in Buffalo.  You know we're going to go crazy with it.

It's back at the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center on November 27th, 2021.

According to their website, that attendance number is based on COVID protocols.  If guidance loosens up, they could expand the number of people that can come.  At this point, vaccinated and unvaccinated fans are welcome.

The Disco will work closely with the Buffalo Convention Center, Erie County Health Department and the New York State Department of Health to monitor for and implement any changes made to public health guidelines. Consistent with NYS indoor facilities guidance as of July 21st, vaccinated and unvaccinated fans are welcome to attend our event. We are reducing our total event capacity to 5000. In the event the NYS guidelines become less restrictive after we go on sale, we may increase the capacity of the event to normal levels. Please keep in mind that we expect the guidelines to be updated several times before our event. (as of 7/21/21) - https://theworldslargestdisco.com/

Not only is it a good time, but it's for a good cause too. The Disco is a charity event benefiting Camp Good Days and Special Times, a camp for children with cancer. Since 1994 they have donated over 6.2 million dollars to Camp Good Days and several other local charities.

Tickets will go on sale starting on August 11th.  They begin at $79 per ticket and include 2 free glasses of beer, wine or pop.  As the event gets closer, the price of tickets will go up.  So it's better to get them earlier.

13 Things Buffalonians Got REALLY Hyped For

15 Things That Will Convince Anyone You're a Western New York Native

Buffalonians have a way of spotting one another even across great distances, like the time I ran into a couple from Alden while in line for an empanada in Key West. But what about if you're new here? Is there a learning curve to being part of the City of Good Neighbors?
