A Massive Change Happened In New York. Did You Notice?
Something huge happened this week in New York and chances are you didn't even notice.
The change is subtle but has a major positive impact on our lives and just makes you feel good about it.
Have you figured out what the change is yet?
If not, here is a clue for you. You probably talked about this with someone you know and were happy about it.
Know it now?
Ok...here is another clue. You most likely have been thinking about this since November and knew it was coming around Christmas time.
Still don't know what event happened yet?
If you work a 9-5 you would have noticed this as you left work.
Ok...so what major event happened this week around 5 pm that most people are happy about and most people didn't even notice that it happened?
Sunsets after 5 pm!! Yes if you work a 9-5 you have noticed this week as you drive home that it is still light out in Western New York. It is a glorious thing too! The worst part of winters here in Western New York is leaving work and it is already dark out.
Now that we have moved past the Winter Solstice and we are moving closer to Springtime, the Sun is setting later and later which means sunlight for the ride home from work!
The Sun will set around 5:23 pm this week and it will get later and later each day until we reach June 21st The Summer Solstice and the day with the most sunlight of the year.
I don't know about you, but driving home when it is still light out makes me VERY VERY happy.
