Buffalo River Fest Park is located in Buffalo’s Old First Ward and was developed by Margaret “Peg” Overdorf.  The park has hosted the “Buffalo River Fest” in the past during the month of June. The three-acre park features a bandshell, boardwalk, pergola, gardens,  covered wharf, interpretive signage, and banquet facility.
The park first opened in June of 2011, in an area that used to be alive with shopping and the grain industry. Now the area is alive again with live music and as a recreational venue for rowing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boating.
