This past Thursday, thousands of music lovers were treated to an entertaining show from the legendary Santana.

For the first time in 8 years, the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Santana played at CMAC in Canandaigua, New York.

Santana, led by Carlos Santana, is an eight-piece band that has been around since 1966 and is one of the best-selling bands in the world. They have sold over 47 million certified albums in the US, and an estimated 100 million sold worldwide.

On Thursday they brought their musical talents to CMAC and gave the audience a night of unforgettable music and fun.

Our good friend David "Gus" Griesinger from BackstageAxxess was at the show with his camera in hand. You can see his full review and photos of the show HERE

The band wasted no time getting to the hits as they played both of their biggest hits, "Black Magic Woman" and "Oye Como Va", early in the set.

They did save one of their biggest hits for the encore as they played "Smooth" as the final song of the night.

Santa is busy with their "1001 RAINBOWS TOUR" as they played just over the border at the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on Friday and then headed to Ohio on Sunday. They will be on the road until August 6th when they wrap up the tour in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Also, get ready to see more of the behind the scenes of Santana and Carols Santana. Sony Pictures announced they bought the rights to a lifetime documentary about Carlos' life and plan on releasing the movie in 2023 or 2024.
